Creating VFTs

How do you go about creating a virtual field trip? There is no one right way, so it’s really up to you. On this site, however, we attempt to guide you through the process.

We start by considering the different components that can be used to create an immersive, ground-level virtual field trip. Ours is not a definitive list, and we fully expect to add more over time. 

It is also important to think about pedagogy and technology, and in that order because pedagogy trumps technology.

Your virtual field trip will also be shaped by the time and resources at your disposal. 

Once you know what it is you want to achieve, you can then consider what equipment you need and then, crucially, how you’re going to produce your virtual field trip.
